A VISION for NATIONAL UNITY
Canadians need a new reason to come together. I offer my thoughts on a VISION, MISSION and STRATEGIC PLAN that can be executed by millions of individuals who may wish to engage.
VISION 2.0
The PEOPLE’S CONSTITUTION of 2024
Concerning the Rights of Persons and the Obligations of Government
BIRTHRIGHTS are non-negotiable. Every person deserves an age-appropriate level of individual freedom to undertake personal responsibility under conditions of fair, respectful and unbiased public rules.
Governments must protect our BIRTHRIGHTS..
Safeguarding these BIRTHRIGHTS is crucial to maintaining order, peace, and cooperation within thriving societies. These inalienable rights are best supported under the guidance of the following tenets.
The TENETS
EVERY PERSON has a body, mind and will of their own.
The BIRTHRIGHT of every person living within democratic and civilized human communities is protection from unwarranted attacks on their person or property. Every person’s ability to survive and thrive depends on this protection.
Accordingly, these rights and freedoms are essential for individuals to:
LIVE FREE from any form of physical, emotional, or economic aggression imposed by any person regardless of their position or status in society.
HOLD BELIEFS, and to express them in a peaceful and non-threatening way.
PURSUE GOALS working independently or with others, and to provide for themselves and their family.
OWN PROPERTY that they legally create, build, or buy.
DEFEND THEMSELVES, their family, and their property.
EQUAL TREATMENT as separate and respected persons under unbiased laws and regulations.
THE FAMILY
The cornerstone institution of thriving societies throughout human history as been the family. Civil societies must honour and protect it against all unwarranted intrusions.
GOVERNMENTS SERVE Canadians BEST when …
… they uphold our BIRTHRIGHTS transparently, accountably and without authoritarian measures.
Every citizen has a duty of care.
Canada’s economy, national security and culture must be carefully and democratically nurtured to sustain a truly civil society.
Concerned stakeholders deserve to take part freely and responsibly in open and vigorous debates concerning significant public policy decisions to be undertaken by public authorities and institutions.
All views must be heard, respected and considered in a mutually respectful manner between citizens and public officeholders to weigh the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (i.e. SWOT analysis) associated with pending decisions. This includes anticipating their intended and unintended consequences.
Government officials and their personnel are employed, empowered and compensated to be the guardians of our BIRTHRIGHTS. As such, they are duty bound to:
Ensure the protection of every person from any form of harm or threat, whether from individuals, groups, foreign entities, or government agencies.
Reliably and responsibly steward public assets, managing them to meet the needs of current and future generations.
Supply and/or manage vital infrastructure and services which could not otherwise exist without government input or financial support.
Help those in need to reach personal independence and responsible self-reliance in dignity.
GOVERNMENTS PROTECT Canadians BEST when …
Laws, policies, and government actions do not infringe upon the rights, freedoms, or rightfully obtained property of citizens and businesses.
Every citizen enjoys the right to self-provision through trade and commerce.
No individual, group, or entity receives undeserved privileges.
Neither domestic nor foreign powers can compromise our cultural values or assert control over our lands and resources.
The OBLIGATIONS of PUBLIC EMPLOYEES.
A fiduciary duty comes with government employment. Fundamentally, it confers a duty to respect and uphold our BIRTHRIGHTS. This a non-negotiable condition of their employment.
Public officials who violate their fiduciary duty must face suitable consequences in the same way that all citizens are expected to obey our laws or face penalties.
Victims of fiduciary duty violations must be “made whole” directly by the perpetrators and not by the taxpayers at large who had no part in said violations.
The PURPOSE
NATIONAL UNITY by SHARED COMMITMENTS to a COMMON VISION.
Canada’s heritage offers many heroic stories of men and women who led successful and fulfilling lives while overcoming the many challenges that inevitably arise in every human life. It was often those very challenges that inspired strangers to join efforts to advance the causes of security and prosperity within their communities and beyond.
Contemporary citizens likewise want Canada to be a sovereign nation in which they can share in the unity of common purpose with pride. Shared responsibility is essential to realize this vision which behooves every citizen to act in a humane, cooperative, and constructive manner while recognizing and respecting our individual differences.
Some considerations and aspirations for these TENETS include:
Discrimination is unacceptable. We must value every person equally regardless of employment or social status, race, ethnicity, age, wealth, or any other demographic.
Government officials must respect INFORMED CONSENT and never assume unwanted authority over any person or their property without it. Whenever personal responsibility and individual choices are possible, every person must be able to make responsible decisions according to their personal circumstances and preferences without harming or aggressing against others. Freedom of Informed Choice for all is the operating principle by which citizens must abide.
Public officeholders bear special and privileged obligations. Upon employment, government employees accept and must fulfill the fiduciary duties conferred upon them. Fundamental to these is to protect the legitimate BIRTHRIGHTS of each person ahead of their own interests and/or the interests of any person, organization, or ideological cause that fall outside their duties of office.
Citizens must be able to protect and defend themselves. Individual persons and business owners must be able to justly hold public officeholders individually accountable for harms they may cause in carrying out the duties of their office. In so doing, the victims must not suffer undue costs, damage to their reputations, inconveniences and/or unwarranted constraints imposed or incurred by the actions or decisions made by public officials.
CITIZEN VIGILANCE is essential. To prevent public officeholders from abusing the powers of their office, those powers (authorized responsibilities) must be documented clearly and made readily accessible for every public position. This will enable citizens to recognize when and where potential misuse of those powers may occur.
A BALANCE OF POWERS is vital to foster MUTUAL RESPECT between our citizens and public officeholders. Government institutions, and the public sector in general, have steadily grown in size, cost, and scope of authorities over many decades. The public has no effective mechanism to this stop government expansion. Elections are now “political theatre” and not expressions of the “will of the people” through elected representatives. Consequently, governments freely micromanage individual choices using evermore regulations and employing tax-funded advances in monitoring and information systems to enforce them. Citizens must amass the resources and powers sufficient to hold politicians and public servants accountable to their fiduciary duties and to constrain their excesses whenever and wherever they may occur.
Citizens cannot effectively defend their BIRTHRIGHTS unless they can act with impunity in a peaceful manner and under unbiased laws to identity and address any abuses of public authority. They must be free to act alone or in association with others for such purposes without fear of overreach by public institutions.
Convictions by public opinion must stop! Undeserved harms are a travesty of Justice. Too often, persons who face charges of an alleged crime suffer unfair harm the public at large propagates a “guilty verdict” before legal proceedings have completed. Unsubstantiated claims spread by misguided and ill-informed journalism, gossip, hearsay, and the like, are unacceptable. This disrespectful and uncharitable behaviour deserves no place in a civil society that claims to uphold these TENETS.
Obviously, there are many other possibilities to discuss besides those above, but they offer a starting point to imagine how life in Canada might improve under a PEOPLES CONSTITUTION of 2024.
MISSION
The Stronach Foundation for Economic Rights provides seven ways to fulfill the VISION. I can think of no better place to start working towards a better Canada than Frank’s 7-Point Program.
Please become familiar with this MISSION and with the organization that Mr. Stronach has launched to spread across Canada.
JOIN the Coalition.
Engage with countless numbers of Canadians who understand the urgency of this movement here at Join the coalition. Read about the benefits of memberships.
JOIN the National Board of Directors.
If you are a farmer, small business owner, a like-minded podcast host or blogger, or someone who has led any of the “freedom groups” that have arisen over the past decade which question the role of governments, consider joining the National Board of Directors to help steer the success of this VISION and MISSION. STRATEGIC PLAN
“Grass roots” is the phrase Frank Stronach prefers to describe his 7-Point Program movement. He envisions it arising from decentralized CITIZEN COUNCILS comprised of many community members who share common causes. He uses the 343 federal election ridings to suggest the number and scope of these Councils, but envisions largely antonymous Councils whose members freely define and coordinate their mandates under self-governing arrangements. Mandates can be local, regional or national in scope.
The 7-Point Program has something for everyone.
Each Citizen Council is free to choose how and where to allocate their time and resources to any one or all of the Program. This is expected. Understandably, every Council’s members will identify priorities based on local economic, social or governance priorities, and beyond.
Imagine 343 Citizen Councils across Canada.
Picture hundreds of thousands of concerned Canadians operating through hundreds of Citizen Councils to make their interests and concerns heard by public administrators as well as municipal, provincial and federal elected representatives. This image conveys where this movement is heading.
CRITICAL MASS is a key to success.
As sufficient numbers of concerned Canadians join the coalition as Citizen Council members, and the number of Councils grows substantially, the LEVERAGE of this national movement will build to steer governments on a new course based on the People’s Constitution of 2024.
The complete picture.
Now you see what 40 millions Canadians can accomplish when led and organized to a common VISION with the MISSION and STRATEGIC PLAN to reach our destination.
I believe that every responsible Canadian wants the same thing: to determine the best outcomes for our personal, family, community, regional, national and inter-national destinies.

I'm afraid as a Western Canadian, it is TOO LATE. The way Canada is set up, the West is little more than colonies to be exploited for GREATER GOOD of UPPER AND LOWER CANADA. We send an awful lot of money to Ottawa, who then in turn hands out goodies in TORONTO/OTTAWA/MONTREAL to BUY VOTES. Elections are held and governments DECIDED BEFORE the returns come in from the Manitoba border west. WE HAVE NO VOICE. The way the constitution is set up, there is a snowballs chance in hell anything is going to change this BAD MARRIAGE. WE WANT A DIVORCE! The west used to say WE WANT IN. Well, that was a few decades ago, now we say THE WEST WANTS OUT!!!!
