Students and graduates- PAY ATTENTION!
My advice to every student and recent graduate in the STEM fields.
If you aspire to do ground-breaking work, listen to this episode!
The career possibilities are enormous in this emerging AI field.
As a former Recruitment Professional, who has conducted 10,000+ interviews over a 36-year career, I don’t make claims like this lightly.
Early days
While Recursion currently employs only 550 people, and it shows just a few job openings on its Careers page, this company and others like it, are excellent prospects to track for potential employment opportunities.
AI is still in its infancy.
Those who get in on the ground floor of a high-growth industry like AI generally do very well if they are ambitious and hard working professionals.
AI, and other tech domains that will shape the ever-expanding Digital Economy and the Digital Society it promises, will touch everyone.
The choice
Any young person with a STEM education, who is starting out in his or her career, has a choice to make.
They can choose to be employed in a business/job that enables them to become a positive contributor to this AI/digital transformation.
Their alternative is to take the risk a job that is sure to be eliminated by forces of creative destruction that are the targets of the AI steamroller that we all know is coming our way.
