Carney and AI⁉️
The emerging powers of Artificial Intelligence offer great potential for humanity in the hands of good people with good intentions. In the hands of powerful people with questionable motives … ⁉️
Carney wants ‘efficiency’ using AI
Mark Carney has identified himself as an “elite” and spoke recently about his plans to use AI and pursuer efficiency increases in Canada’s federal government.
He has extensive connections with some of the world’s most powerful people through the World Economic Forum, and within the international central banking communities, including the World Bank. Mark’s Wikipedia page reveals his storied climb to wealth and power through a myriad of Board and Consulting assignments in Canada and internationally. His roots to the Liberal Party and social justice policies like DEI run deep.
“Money”, as they say “makes the world go around”.
Does more money mean that the world “go around” faster⁉️
If the largest central banks of the world have the ability to “create money out of thin air”, and plan to implement Central Bank Digital Currencies (CDBC) to increase their control over the spending choices of citizens, does this prospect represent a benefit or threat to humanity⁉️ With AI, these ambitions would be on an exponential dose of steroids.
Digital Money is already here.
Everyone spends money digitally through debit and credit cards, scheduled online bill payments through “pre-authorized chequing, Interac, and a growing number of Bitcoin transactions. The use of coins and bills is fading into history.
Mark Carney has spent his entire career in banking and in international finance. Few Canadians will understand this realm like Mr. Carney.
When Mark Carney says that he wants to use AI to increase “efficiency” in government, what kind of “efficiency” can Canadians expect from a man who sees Canada through a “global lens”?
Mister Climate Change
The United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals lists Climate Action as #13. Mark Carney is “Mister Climate Change” personified and every Canadian voter will know this on April 28, 2025 when he or she stands before a ballot with pencil in hand deciding when to give the awesome power of AI to this man.
“Efficiency” in Government ⁉️
Governments do three primary things:
collect taxes and revenues from permits, licences, fines, and other “revenue tools”.
create and enforce laws and regulations.
punish citizens who violate #2 by building large institutions and workforces for this purpose.
Does Mark Carney aspire to use Artificial Intelligence to make the above functions of government more efficient and thorough? Is this a good thing given the enormous number of federal policies the exist today?
Pierre Poilievre and AI.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre was an MP during the days of Conservative Prime Minster Stephen Harper who had earned a Masters Degree in Economics. Harper came the closest to any Prime Minister since John Diefenbaker to balance the federal budget, a goal he pursued steadfastly in spite of strong opposition from the federal Liberals, NDP and Bloc Québécois. Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the “budgets balance themselves” and, consequently, paid little attention to managing federal spending.
Pierre Poilievre, like Harper, is a fiscal conservative. He favours lower income taxes, the repeal of carbon taxes, the privatization of the CBC which only promotes Liberal policies and political candidates.
AI is already here.
On April 28, Canadians will exercise their responsibility to choose to whom they will assign legislative and AI authority in the Government of Canada.
Will it be to a self-proclaimed globalist like Carney who has shown little interest in Canada as his home in recent decades❓
Or will voters choose Pierre Poilievre, a Canadian family man whose wife and school-age kids have lived through the biggest issues that Canada had faced in decades❓
The choice is clear.
Pierre will use AI to reduce the burdens of excessive government encroachments into the lives of all Canadians.
Mark will use AI to decrease Canada’s sovereignty and increase Canada’s subservience to the UN’s agenda of 17 Sustainable Development Goals leveraging his fervent commitment to Climate Action.
I plan to vote ‘blue” as a defence against the encroachment of globalist powers over Canadian sovereignty.
Poilievre will get my support.
Full disclosure: I had planned to run as an Independent candidate in this election and hoped that someone else would be the local Libertarian candidate.
After collecting 138 nomination signatures required by Elections Canada for my name to appear on every ballot in the Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes- Brock federal riding, I was informed by the Returning Officer yesterday that I am on a list of people who are ineligible to run. 🤷🏼🤷🏻♀️🤷🏿♂️
I am trying to learn the reason for this and to reach the correct federal government official to resolve this matter, but you know how that it likely to go …🥺.
As the only committed Advocate for Less Government in the election, it saddens me to think that not a single voter in this area will be able to express a preference to reduce the size, cost and scope of authority on a ballot.
I am still working to become eligible to be a candidate but am not holding my breath.
Gene, you seen how the liberal leadership process was manipulated against voices other than the chosen few who had agreed to lose. Why is this surprising to you ? It is the age of censorship !
