Climate Change by underwater volcano!
A friend sent this link to me because she knows I have studied Global Warming for many years and know that man-made CO2 has an insignificant affect on the earth’s climate.
The climate is constantly changing.
It has done so since the dawn of time. The number of variables that affect atmospheric temperatures, and their measurements, are so numerous that it is impossible the model all variables to make reliable climate predictions as anyone who regularly checks weather forecasts knows.
Yet, there are still people, organizations and institutions that rely on the average forecast of over 40 computer models to anticipate the earth’s climate from now to 2200 AD. I consider this hubris of climate prediction to be outrageous, but understandable when you begin to consider the amount of money and power associated with the global Climate Change Governmental Complex. The book Apocalypse Never is an excellent read for anyone who wants a balanced perspective on the science and politics behind the Climate Change phenomenon.
I missed one. Oops.
One variable that I had not previously considered is described in this American Thinker article. I had known that Earth’s most significant greenhouse gas was water vapour but I was unaware that if an volcano erupts hundreds of meters below the ocean surface it could spew so much water vapour into the atmosphere as to affect global weather patterns significantly.
My lawn and trees are thankful.
The extra rainfall this year is responsible for compliments I receive for how lush my lawn looks compared to past summers when brown patches inevitably appeared by August.
I am not a gambling man, but if I were to place bets on what accounts the most for changes in climate, I would bet every time on Mother Nature against my neighbour's pickup truck.
