Constitional Republic vs Democracy

This short video inspires questions about why and how the belief by average Canadians in constitutional democracy is deeply flawed. Democracy results in totalitarian distatorship under elite rule.

Years ago, I read Democracy, The God That Failed by Dr. Hans-Herman Hoppe. It was the first time that I began to question the merits of Democracy.

This short video brought back my scepticism with greater impact given my life experiences since early 2020. All of the evidence I have witnessed has compiled to unmoore whatever trust and faith remained in our “democratic instutions”

President Ronald Reagan warned every American to be wary of the man who approaches and then claims: “I am from the government and I’m here to help”.

We didn’t listen to Reagan then. Are the majority prepared to listen to his message in 2024?
