Desperation?
The assassination attempt on Donald Trump raises many questions.
The footage
I have watched a few different recordings of the Pennsylvania Trump rally and the shooting. Many questions arose.
If the shooter was killed within seconds of Trump being hit in the ear, and if he had no ID on him, how did the authorities complete a DNA test to learn of his identity within one hour? This doesn’t seem possible unless they knew about him and his intentions in advance and could quickly report him as a “lone gunman” to minimize the rise of “conspiracy theories” as occurred after JFK was assassinated.
“The FBI has identified the gunman who wounded Donald Trump as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, according to a statement cited by U.S. media early Sunday. His motive remains unknown.” (quoted from the National Post). Was Thomas Crooks ex-military and a trained sniper? After all, he was skilled enough to nearly succeed in a deadly direct head shoot from 350 yards away.
If this was an inside job as some people suspect, elimination of the shooter would be required to ensure he could not be interrogated? Was this part of the plan? Both assassins of the Kennedy brothers were eliminated quickly (Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby).
Elon Musk has endorsed Trump. Will this assassination attempt inspire “never voters”, Greens, Libertarians, unsure Democrats and Independent voters to support Trump? Did a failed assassination attempt politically backfire if the goal was to ensure Trump could not win in November?
The smell of Desperation?
This assassination attempt smells like as last gasp attempt to eliminate “the enemy” permanently. Everything else has been tried to stop Trump from being re-elected.
In war, napalm fire bombing was used to increase the odds of eradicating the foe. Actor Robert Duvall played American military leader Lt. Col. Kilgore in the set of the war movie Apocalypse Now. “I love the smell of napalm in the morning” was the most memorable quote of that film. For me, those words represent a blood thust found in America’s political and “deep state” leaders who fight to win at all costs.
They missed.
What’s next? How far will Trump’s enemies go?
How many Americans will finally understand what’s at stake in their nation? It’s dangerous state of affairs is impossible to ignore.
What will the American public do to preserve their cherished democracy in the face of the greatest attempt its life?
Something is not right. Why did the counter snipers not see the shooter on the roof 350 yards away before he fired at Trump. The shooter would have to take time to set up and get Trump in his sights. He would have have been there awhile to do that. It looks like the Secret Service is suspect. Not human error at all and I am sure Trump and Republicans are thinking the same thing.
In this day and age, only a simpleton assassin would be unaware that creating a martyr only strengthens the side of their target. As usual, the CIA "got" their man, so we will never really know the motives of the 20 year old that we are told was the shooter. Was he a drug-addled, deep state wind-up toy? Or was he a victim of TDS fuelled by corporate media?
I believe that the RNC convention is scheduled for this week (Trump is theoretically only the presumptive Republican candidate), for what it's worth. It seems a bit early for desperate measures like this, IMO.
