Did it go according to plan?

Wouldn’t it be great if we could read each others’ thoughts and to peer inside minds to understand how each person’s life experiences have shaped their current perception of “reality”?

What was Dr. Klaus Schwab thinking?

When I read The Fourth Industrial Revolution in 2018, I was impressed by the knowledge that author Dr. Klaus Schwab possessed about Economics, Information Systems and how the evolving digital technologies could, and likely would, change human life on Earth.

Was Klaus formulating a plan with some of the world’s richest and most powerful people to roll out a form of Digital Communism globally? When I saw this ad on the World Economics Forum’s web site, it seemed evident to me that this was his intent as founder and Chairman of the WEF.

The LIFE LENS is a concept that refers to the way each person perceives his or her reality.  This perception is shaped and informed by the sum total of each’s individual’s lifetime of experiences which act as a filter (a “lens”) through which the mind must peer to understand one’s current circumstances.

What was the state of the LIFE LENS of Klaus Schwab when he wrote that book prior to 2017 when it was published? What is it like today, in 2024, after he has led the WEF into becoming one of the world’s most influential organizations? Were his 2017 hopes and plans fulfilled? Does he have any regrets?

Did Schwab’s dreams of ‘Build Back Better’, ‘The Great Reset’ and ‘Stakeholder Capitalism’ under a ‘One World Order’ take on a life of their own? Have they missed the target of his intended vision?

Unless you can be inside that mastermind’s mind and observe his ‘reality’ through his LIFE LENS, you will never know and neither will anyone else.

Meanwhile, the world keeps turning …

While Schwab’s ‘reality’ has continued to morph, millions of others with a LIFE LENS of their own have concluded that their ‘reality’ is under assault by changes ushered in by the WEF and other globalist entities.

Are these changes really the result of Klaus’ entourage of power brokers and their global meddling and corruption of the institutions of power within the government, media, technology and financial sectors? They appear to be executing a top-down, centrally-controlled plan to take control of all public and personal assets around the globe, don’t they?

Another theory.

Perhaps the changes we are all experiencing are the result of the bottom-up, decentralized forces of free market capitalism. After all, most of us want  the conveniences and promises of 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) products.

For example, I use an iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, Apple headset,  digital TV, Wi-Fi services in my home, a variety of Internet apps, and more digital devices. I am a daily podcast consumer on a variety of subject domains, and I use online shopping services because because they are cheaper and more effective that the gas and time it takes to go to retail stores. As the cost of living keeps rising, these conveniences and cost savings become ever more attractive.

Compared to pre-Internet life, my daily experiences have continually shaped my LIFE LENS into perceiving “reality” in ways that the 1999 version of me could not have dreamed possible.

Who’s to blame?

So, to whom or what do I account for the changes that concern me today? Should I blame Klaus Schwab and his “apostles of Digital Communism”, or myself for buying into the technologies of 4IR?
