“Do as I say. Not as I do.”
A DOUBLE STANDARD exists. Legislation prevents Pharmaceutical companies from advertising drugs without listing risks and common side effects. Not so for Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health. Why?
“SAFE and convenient?”
Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer is using direct mail to promote additional Covid19 jabs without including any information about the risk?
Is INFORMED CONSENT an enforceable policy of the Ontario Ministry of Health?
As a Medical Doctor, Dr. Kieran Moore is obligated to “do no harm”, right?
Every email to citizens, signed by Dr. Kieran Moore to recommend a vaccine or any other pharmaceutical treatment, must come with comparable warnings to which pharmaceutical companies are legally required to provide to Ontario residents!
Disclaimers
There are many responsible and respectful doctors who host podcasts that include disclaimers to clarify that the information provided is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. For example, a common disclaimer might state: “This podcast is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. Consult your own physician for any medical issues you may be having.”
One of my personal favourites is Peter Attia, MD, who hosts “The Peter Attia Drive” podcast. He ends every podcast with a similar disclaimer. His podcast disclaimer states that the content is for general informational purposes and does not constitute the practice of medicine or the giving of medical advice1.
Why can’t Dr. Kieran Moore be held to the same stand of excellence?
A friend, age 74, received the email:
From: Ontario Ministry of Health <ontario.ministry.of.health@notify.ontario.ca>

Subject: It’s time for an updated COVID-19 vaccine and annual flu shot for individuals aged 65 years and over.
As Ontario is in the midst of respiratory illness season, we are taking this opportunity to remind all individuals aged 65+ to get their updated COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot to protect yourself against currently circulating variants.
Vaccination continues to be the best way for people to remain protected against severe outcomes from respiratory viruses. It is safe and convenient to receive both the updated COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot at the same time, reducing the need for multiple visits.
You can book a COVID-19 vaccine through:
Participating pharmacies (https://www.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations/)
The COVID-19 vaccination portal (https://www.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/)
The Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900, available in over 300 languages, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time (TTY for people who are deaf, hearing-impaired or speech-impaired: 1-833-943-3900)
Public health units using their own booking system (https://www.phdapps.health.gov.on.ca/phulocator/)
Participating primary care providers
Indigenous-led vaccination clinics
You can book a flu shot through:
Participating pharmacies
A doctor or nurse practitioner
Some local public health units (https://www.phdapps.health.gov.on.ca/phulocator/)
You can also speak to a health care provider about potential antiviral treatments for COVID-19 and influenza if you become ill.
If you have received the updated COVID-19 vaccine since September 30, 2024, guidance for vaccination in Spring 2025 will be available closer to then.
Thank you,
Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health
Why the Double Standard?
Why is there one set of laws for us while government bureaucrats like Dr. Moore can violate them without consequences?
I am looking forward to receiving Dawn The Covid19 Rabbit Hole.
I would send a copy to Kieran but I doubt he would read it. He must know on some subconscious level that he has failed the people of Ontario during Covid. He would likely fear that this book does too good of a job outlining all of the failures and misinformation disseminated under his administration.
Anger
I feel angry when I observe governments officials displaying callous disregard and open disrespect for the safety and knowledge of our citizens.
Do men like Dr. Moore assume that we are all stupid?
Don’t bother to answer that question.
Their actions speak louder than words can ever express.
Great point Gene. Safe and convenient makes us believe giving 2 shots at once is normal. No mention of risk. My brother received both flu and covid shot. He got sick with Covid shortly afterwards ended up in the ICU. Suffered ++ and died in a week. I begged him not to get the shot.
Added thought…The concept of getting two or three vaccines in one shot has been a slow creep. They first added diphtheria to tetanus then 2012 added pertussis. My friend didn’t know that. She thought she was just getting a tetanus shot. Thanks Gene.
