Dragons and The Establishment Monster

Where are our dragons when we really need them?

Letter to Trish, host of the Trish Wood Is Critical podcast

Hi Trish,

Like you have expressed in your most recent show, I don’t share the optimistic outlook of your three guests. Episode 120

In my view, our communities of “awake” citizens are outnumbered and overpowered in every way possible. The “establishment monster” has done a brilliant job of building the fences and armament capabilities to stop any ‘awake’ movement cold. 

Consider the facts.

Virtually every public institution, and the majority of the world’s largest corporations led by their billionaire owners, have adopted the woke rulebook. Their ability to enforce that rulebook is so unassailable by the dispersed and unorganized ‘awakened’ and ‘awakening’ public as to be unimaginable. 

The “awake” side of this moment in history is comprised mostly of people like you who possess a platform to promote “antiestablishment” warnings to people like me - average citizens.

Few, if any, of your guests or your listeners hold any position of authority and power capable of changing anything. If you had Doug Ford, or Justin Trudeau, or Chrystia Freeland on your show and secured a commitment from them to protect us all from The Great Reset steamroller, then I might feel some glimmer of hope. Fat chance that this will ever happen and I doubt than Doug is a regular listener of your show.

The woke steamroller keeps on rolling

Meanwhile, while we talk, the ESG and DEI policies continue an unstoppable roll out into every corporate and government workplace. Employees obey or face ejection from the safety (ie the survival instinct kicks in) of their employer. If the ‘awake’ among those employees are courageous enough to seek another employer, they will surely encounter the same policies at every other equivalent job prospect. They are trapped inside the woke bubble by ‘the establishment monster’.

Survival is the one instinct that every human being shares in common. Fear is the most powerful of all human feelings. An animal may be at its most dangerous to one or two hunters who have cornered it, but that danger is of no consequence to a behemoth the size of the “establishment monster”. 

Guided by the Build Back Better plan…

… the ‘establishment monster’ controls and directs all banks (our paycheques, accounts, assets like our homes), all of society’s rules and their enforcers (governments), most of our food sources (supply chains), our energy sources (gas, oil, electricity), our defence resources (police, the military, the courts) and all of the culturally-dominant messaging platforms (corporate media and social media). 

Anyone who is optimistic about the future is someone who has not yet taken a full inventory of his or her available resources with which to oppose the massive resources of the ‘establishment monster’. IMHO.

Our window of opportunity to stop the monster was closed well before the pandemic even started. COVID19 simply startled a lot of its victims into becoming awakened by fear and personal loss.

Where are our Freedom Forces?

Trish. In your show, you have covered all manner of topics related to the woke takeover. I applaud you for it. However, where are the guests who can give up solid evidence that the “awake legions” to whom you speak have been able to cobbled together organizations that can do more than just talk?  I have yet to identify any awake “freedom forces” who possess the power and authority capable of taking on the ‘establishment monster’ much less defeating it.

Sure, we had the Trucker Convoy and Elon Musk tried to buy and liberalize Twitter, but those actions were easily defeated by the “establishment monster”. Who is flying our equivalent of the Enola Gay with the power to ‘nuke’ the monster and allow us all to return to ‘normal’??  Normal will be when our instinct for survival is no longer on constant high alert and our adrenal glands will get a well-earned rest.

Enter The Dragons 😜?

My wife, Cynthia,  and I listen to all of your shows. My 90 year-old mother-in-law (Dorothy) lives with us and has recently begun listening too. We are watching The Game of Thrones for a second time and I wish I had the full-grown dragons at our command to help us defeat the establishment monster.
