FEAR & NEED
Laying bare the unscrupulous election strategies of the CONs, LIBs, NDP, and GRN party candidates. That is the goal of this post, and to introduce the TFM Report for honest elections.
The BORG: Blue, Orange, Red & Green parties.
NEED is their favourite word
FEAR is their favourite tool.
Committed statists like all BORG political candidates cannot succeed with these.
In a recent “all candidates” event…
I participated this past week with five other candidates in an in-person event hosted in a Lindsay Ontario venue with about 100 citizens in attendance. I was very aware of the language of BORG party candidates who took the stage with me. The event was organized to address public concerns by SME (small - medium enterprises) business owners over concerns about the “tariff wars” that America’s new government has threatened between Canada and the USA, and what to do about this situation.
The tools of FEAR, directed by the Green, Liberal and NDP candidates (the Conservatives were not represented), were as expected: Climate Change, income disparity between “rich” and “poor”, business closures from “unfair tariffs”, and other issues informed by their “social justice” concerns.
FEAR creates NEED.
If you persistently fan the embers of FEAR, you eventually get a forest fire worth of NEED. This is the BORG strategy.
All BORG candidates position themselves are the answer to your FEARS. They all promise to fulfill your NEED for safety and security.
They neglect, however, to explain HOW they will do it.
Lost in the fine print
While FEAR and NEED are four-letter words, other four and three letter words are often poorly addressed, especially in events like “all candidates meeting” which are time limited.
HOW, WHO, WHY, WHAT, WHEN and HOW MUCH are the details that the BORG won’t explain even in their campaign literature.
If the BORG is unable or unwilling to practice TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY during their election campaigns, what does that tell you about their expected performance as your MPP?
How can we MOGA (Make Ontario Great Again)?
If the majority of Canadians continue to vote for the BORG candidates who have given us far too much government in our lives, how will MOGA be possible?
However, better information and caution are needed.
Yes, many people want a change away from BORG parties, but what do they really know about the candidates of the other 19 registered political parties and the Independent candidates? Are these people really up to the task of representing their constituents effectively and fairly in a Legislative Assembly with 124 MPPs from across Ontario all competing for the same limited public resources?
This may help.
Alternative media enterprises like www.TFMreport.com are slowly transforming the media landscape to enable much more engaging, fair, informed and open elections.
Last nite, the founding partners of TFM Report, Jody Ledgerwood & Cris Vleck, hosted a 90 minute live, long form broadcast to introduce four election candidates who have largely been overlooked by the voting public and ignored the BORG-biased mainstream corporate media enterprises.
Represented were candidates from the Ontario Party, the Ontario Libertarian Party, the Direct Democracy party and an Independent for Less Government (me).
Jody and Cris are “Proud Members of the Authentic Media” which says it all: that the employees of the “legacy media” are not worthy of pride in their work, or claims of professionalism, honesty or integrity.
Voters will learn much more about candidates by this long-form podcast medium than they ever will learn about BORG candidates who are restricted to slogan spouting and “air-brushed” for political presentation.
you will have to convince them to join substack and post videos here.
