Foreign Interference in Canadian elections?
In recent times, China has been accused of meddling in Canada’s two most recent federal elections to favour the Trudeau regime. What about Elon Musk, an Ametican?

“Russian interference” was blamed for Hillary Clinton’s unexpected loss to President Donald Trump seven years ago. The legacy media dutifully went along with that narrative and fanned its flames nonstop.
Election interference can be achieved in many ways. Tampering with vote counting and reporting, bribing officials, constant propaganda and other methods have all been tried.
What about ELON MUSK?
What do you call it when the world’s richest man, an American, uses his wealth, notoriety and influence to offer his opinion of the Canadian leadership using the most influential media platform on the planet, Twitter, which he happens to own?
I call it FREE SPEECH!
I don’t doubt, however, that federal Liberals and their supporters won’t like it when Musk’s comments don’t flatter their cause. In fact, it would not surprise me (nothing the Liberals do surprises me these days) that Ottawa’s Liberal and NDP power elites will use their censorship authority to stymie Elon Musk’s unflattering opinions about the Trudeau government from reaching the Canadian voting public.

I found the above title for an article written on Bloomberg News, and subsequently at other American sources. I wonder if the CBC or any other legacy Canadian news outlet has posted a comparable article. I suspect not. None of their executives would risk losing the $CDNmillions in federal subsidies by raising flags that might draw negative public attention to the sitting federal government and its policies.
Legacy Media on a “death watch”.
I watched the first ‘Tucker on Twitter’ broadcast yesterday. It received over 70,000,000 views. In the past, Tucker Carlson has also voiced his opinion of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Judging by his comments, I don’t expect Tucker to launch a Justin Trudeau Fanclub anytime soon.
The growing success of independent media voices has been devastating to the legacy media industry which some experts now characterize as a “dying man of life support”. This is unfortunate for future Liberal prospects. In particular, the enormous growth of long form podcasts is killing mainstream media viewership as anyone knows who has paid attention to the Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson phenomena.
I wonder if there are any Canadians left who still believes that the CBC, CTV and GLOBAL news are credible sources of information and not the subsidized purveyors of state propaganda like those we have witnessed historically in other past authoritarian regimes.
Celebrate FREE SPEECH champions.
Today, Elon Musk may be considered the most import voice for FREE SPEECH in the world. I don’t agree with everything he says and does, but as a champion of FREE SPEECH, I can’t think of any other living human who I would prefer to take on this cause. Let’s celebrate all of our FREE SPEECH champions today beginning with Elon, and carry their torch into the world to shine the light of freedom on everyone.
