I can’t express how disappointed I was the day I learned that Mark Carney was nominated and chosen to be Liberal Party Leader and interning Prime Minister by a closed Liberal convention 🙀. THEN, to my amazement, Carney was elected by the majority of voters to remain in that job 🤯❗️
One Facebook ranter posted in ALL CAPS his uncontrolled anger towards the morons who succumbed to the contrived pre-election propaganda that promoted Carney as Canada’s “saviour”.
If Canada was a church and democracy was its religion, the propaganda about Carney could now be considered ‘heresy’.
You know where churches in history send heretics, don’t you?

When I was a young Catholic boy attending Roman Catholic schools, I was told that I would be judged by God at the end of time and face one of three potential consequences for the choices I made in my life.
1️⃣ 👍 👍 He may allow me to cross through the Pearly Gates into an eternal kingdom to hang out with angels, saints and God Himself.
2️⃣ 🤞 He may remand me to a jail cell in a place called Purgatory for an undisclosed period of time and unclear reasons. Possibly, He wants to give me time to review my “sins” and make amends according to an undisclosed set of criteria.
Note that the Purgatory option is not unlike the indecisive, bureaucratic, slow, obfuscating and frustrating policies and procedures that exist in all levels of governments today.
3️⃣ 👎 👎 Or, God may reject me outright so that Satan could claim my soul to burn eternally in the flames of Hell.
That’s quite a story to tell young Catholic boys and girls.
But, fear-mongering has always been the preferred instrument for securing obedience from the masses who are ruled by the power elites.
If you were God’s advisor.
Imagine yourself standing beside God as His personal advisor while He passed His judgements from His Heavenly Throne.
As you whisper your advice into His ear, would you offer 👍👍, 🤞, or 👎👎 for those Canadian voters who chose Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney to preside over the 40,000,000 souls in Canada since 2016?
Specifically, would you and God agree on value, fairness and effectiveness of Liberal policies enacted, implemented and enforced under their leadership?
Decades ago I read a book by Howrd Ruff?? which pointed out once more people are getting than giving from the govt no government can get elected by cutting back. The voters for the libs were afraid the conservatives would cut back the free perks so .....
Oh my!!! What a challenge! How WOULD I advise God??? As an UNEDUCATED person, I am sensitive to the notion of LOW INFORMATION VOTERS however tempting. But it is TRUE! We ARE ALL low INFORMATION voters in this country to some degree or another and new rules to PROTECT us from online harms and greater political endowments to existing news outlets will add to the problem. How can I condemn Liberal/NDP voters to hell when I personally am quite likely just as ignorant on many important matters as I may consider them to be? I do not know what I do not know. I would though ask God to bake in education in mathematics (how to balance a budget/the evils of borrowing), ethics (the hole you dig for others may very well be the hole YOU fall into), history (human nature has not/will not change), and the free flow of information and free speech. The RULING CLASSES would not be happy.
