In case you missed it!
Franco Terrazzano, of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF), delivered this presentation on GOVERNMENT WASTE to the federal Standing Committee on Finance on October 22, 2022.
A voice for Canadian taxpayers.
I am generally opposed to government mandates, but I will make an exception for one: that every high school and university student, every tax-funded public servant, every Canadian journalist employed in legacy media corporations, and every member of a registered Canadian charity or NGO, be forced to watch this presentation by Franco Terrazzano. Immediately after viewing, each government employment must sign this OATH OF RESPECT FOR THE CANADIAN TAXPAYER: .
I understand that, by accepting government employment, I been hired solely to serve the citizens of Canada. I swear to conduct all of my employment duties with respect for all Canadian taxpayers.
I acknowledge that my work does not entitle me to employment benefits or privileges that are not available to every other worker in all other sectors of the economy. While I may be required to join an employment union, I pledge that my allegiance is, and will always be, to serve Canadians to the best of my ability with no divided loyalties to any other group or organization.
I pledge to take responsibility for my actions. Should I fail to live up to this oath, I will subject myself to just remedies. These may range from fines to the termination of employment and immediate cessation of all employee wages and benefits.
If they refuse the oath?
This oath must be signed as a condition of employment. Refusal to sign constitutes a personal refusal to work under the terms expected by Canadian taxpayers and is justification to deny employment.
All public servants must understand that they may face the possibility of employment termination as did people who lost jobs for refusing to accept the Covid jab. During the pandemic, our governments set the legal precedent for this level of punishment for non-compliance to regulations.
Whether the issue is failing to live up to an oath of office or a vaccine mandate, the remedy must be comparably fair and strict. No second changes or union protection may be allowed, and penalties must fit the infraction. These are the liabilities that a public servant must accept if he or she should make choices that harm or defraud taxpayers.

Please note that an Oaths and Affirmations of Office and Allegiance Guide already exists in the province of Ontario as Public Service of Ontario Act, Regulation 373/07.

I don't see how any government employee would have respect for any Canadian taxpayer given the the government takes money from taxpayers without their explicit consent.
That oath is too imprecise too subjective, similar to doctors' "hypocratic oath". They can easily pledge it, and mean it - their interpretation of it. Most of them believe censorship and narrative building "serves the public", to combat misinformation, to promote perceived social benefits, to blunt social tensions, etc.
(There's no such thing as "the public".)
