This linked Epoch Times article describes one way that CRONY-SOCIALISM is at work to manipulate elections using public funds and captured institutions such as hundreds of American colleges.
While CRONY-CAPITALISM continues to be recognized by progressives as the centre of “evil” in the US economy, CRONY-SOCIALISM flies under the public’s radar. But not today!

Arabella Advisors is the biggest name in politics you’ve never heard.
The firm is deeply involved with some of the most prominent financiers of progressive policies and Democratic Party candidates. It manages a complex network of tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations that quietly funnels money to progressive organizations, political action committees, and the campaigns of Democratic Party candidates.
In 2020 and 2022, according to federal election finance filings and nonprofit tax forms, groups linked to Arabella were active in financing Democrats and left-leaning get-out-the-vote efforts. A leader of one of the funds connected to Arabella has already promised to keep up their efforts in 2024.
Arabella Advisors is a private, Washington-based for-profit corporation. In its 2020 report, it says it provides “administrative services to nonprofits working to build a better world and [help] philanthropists on their journeys from idea to impact.”.
Its website says its clients include families and individuals, foundations, nonprofits, and corporations. It doesn’t disclose financial records or details of its activities outside of so-called annual impact reports.
The latest such report, reflecting its activities in 2021 and 2022, said it worked to “deploy more than half a billion dollars in grants to more than 2,800 grantees working in more than 100 countries and almost every state in the United States.”
The report also shows evidence of Arabella’s political leanings. It lists defending democracy and elevating equity as part of “how it helps.”
Abolish CRONYISM
How is it “democratic” that tax dollars can be used to fund the partisan political causes of NGOs, philanthropic organizations and registered “charities”?
All partisan political causes should be funded solely by individuals and NOT by the collective funnel of taxation.
Let individuals voluntarily decides who, what, when and how to support the causes THEY PREFER.
All three forms of CRONYISM should be abolished.
CRONY-CAPITALISM is just another name for a system of corporate welfare. It serves public-private partnerships that exist for the mutual benefit of big corporations and government participants, and the related stakeholders who directly gain from the relationship.
CRONY-SOCIALISM is “social justice” welfare that directs tax revenues and public policy advantages to organizations and institutions which serve the mutual benefit of specific NGOs, etcetera and the associated government participants, as well as their ancillary stakeholders.
CRONY-STATISM is ‘organized labour’ welfare. Labour unions are perennial advocates of Karl Marx’s labour theory of value. Over many decades, they have infiltrated the captive labour markets of public institutions. Privileged legislation, combined with access to tax funding, are the two public resources that their leaders and public officials use to mutually benefit the participants and their stakeholders.
CRONYISM kills DEMOCRACIES
The main actors within these three partisan sectors are all competing for the same advantages: MONEY & AUTHORITY (as defined and enabled through legislation). These two levers combined are what constitute political power which I often refer to as the HONEYPOT of Political Power.
The only two groups that enjoy access to these “power tools” are:
elected politicians in their role as “lawmakers” when their party holds a majority of seats in Parliament or the provincial Legislative Assembly.
heads of government institutions. They largely control of how public funds are spent and how rules are created and enforced.
WHAT IF …
If the STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES became the law of the land in Canada?
The rules of Honeypot Custodianship could be redefined to benefit Canadian citizens over CRONYISM and its many stakeholders?
