Maggie’s great summary
Maggie Braun posted an excellent summary of some on the best arguments AGAINST the Climate Change Crisis Theory (CCCT) which costs every Canadian in high taxes and less freedom.
As Maggie reports in the link below, our public leaders repeat ad nauseam the ‘Original Sin’ of the Climate Change Crisis Theory (CCCT) - the LIE of OMISSION.
What are they omitting?!
Every CCCT zealot, and public office who has any responsibility for government “climate action” initiatives, will insist that you focus solely on one variable: GREENHOUSE GASES (GHG). While everyone knows that GHGs like CO2 and CH4 are naturally-occurring and ubiquitous processes on Earth, those CCCT advocates will only allow you to consider the anthropogenic (aka man-made) kind.
Green House Gas emissions, particularly CO2 from the burning of fossil fuels, are also the devil in their narratives. No consideration of the many other natural causes are allowed, nor any discussion of past anthropological and climate records.
100 years of Science ignored.
Serbian geophysicist and astronomer Milutin Milanković produced provided a quantitative analysis in the 1920s which explained three astronomical cycles which have since been named after him. This knowledge exists in the scientific record to this day but is never mentioned by CCCT enthusiasts.
One on my favourite YouTube videos this explains an enormously significant source of variations in the Earths climate has been the Milankovitch Cycles described in this short video.
Atmospheric Concentrations
Another topic that is side-stepped by CCCT enthusiasts is the dynamics of atmospheric gases over time.
For example, CO2 concentrations rose by 150 parts per 1,000,000 rose over the past 250 years, from 270 to 420 parts per 1,000,000. How much of this increase has been scientifically proven to arise mankind’s impact of earth climate, and is it insignificant compared to other factors like Milankovitch?
If 150 CO2 molecules have been added per 1,000,000 atmospheric molecules since the start of the Industrial Revolution and well before the widespread use of internal combustion engines, how do they explain this?
Usually, CCCT zealots will respond by touting their “97% of scientists agree …” claim without showing their evidence.
An invitation to CCCT Zealots.
The next time a CCCT zealot call you a “climate change denier”, do three things:
Ask them to watch the Milankovitch video.
Refer Maggie’s Substack article to them.
Challenge them to explain what the other 999,580 atmospheric gas molecules (N2, O2, Ar and CH4) have been doing during the time that CO2 rose from 270 parts to 1,000,000 to 420 parts per 1,000,000.
