Message to Trish Woods
I have listened to the Trish Woods Is Critical for over two years. Trish provides credible information and opinions that differ from the one-dimensional narratives of “the establishment”.
An excellent episode with Rodney Palmer.
Trish. Your conversation with Rodney was yet another gift to all of us who think critically. I appreciate the evidence and anecdotes that you, and other ex-CBC guests, have offered in recounting your experiences as former employees of the national broadcaster.
You are a national treasure, Trish.
You have been shining the light of ‘truth plus evidence’ into dark places where many Canadians have boon afraid to look. Some folks are still trapped in fear, and they continue to believe myths about Canadian democracy. You, however, have single-handedly changed this with every new subscriber. Your growing community of followers provides the ‘safe space’ and ‘group solidarity’ that many scared citizens have needed to open their eyes. Your podcasts have showcased the ‘spells of evil’ that Canada’s most powerful witches and warlocks of public institutions (AKA our elected leaders and their ‘apostles of fear-mongering’- the public “health” officials and captured legacy media) have cast upon 36 million Canadians.
The “evil spells” began in 2015 when Trudeau replaced Harper elected as PM. While Stephen Harper was not universally loved, Canada under his government was still a democracy as I understood it throughout the prior 64 years of my life. I am hoping that Pierre Poilivre will restore democracy to Canada in a “Woody Guthrie manner of Libertarianism” that I suspect you would approve.
If anyone asks, tell them that Gene Balfour recommends you receive Canada’s Medal of Honour, and that two roads be named to commemorate your brave and passionate gifts to us all: “Trisk Wood Drive” and “Think Critically Freeway”. Without great independent voices like yours, there is little hope that Canada’s electorate will acquire the wisdom needed to elect national and provincial governments to restore Canada to the “old normal”.
Provincial Sovereignty is a trend.
Note that I applaud the recent work that the Premiers of Alberta and Saskatchewan who have passed legislation that re-claims provincial sovereignty and draws ‘a line in the sand’ that forbids federal government entry unless approved by the province. I hope that Ontario can do the same and base its provincial sovereignty legislation on the ONTARIO Charter of Rights and Freedoms (see attached) to establish solidarity with our Prairie provinces.
FYI. I will be attending the first annual conference of ElevateCommunity who is hosting a meeting of ~65 Ontario freedom groups on April 22 in Newmarket. I plan to promote the idea of a ‘citizens referendum’ to raise 100,000 petition signatures requesting that Legislative Assembly MPPs create and pass the Ontario Sovereignty Act. I can send details of the plan if you wish. Also, if you want to attend, I can get you an invitation (the meeting is limited to 100 participants and the duration is 12 to 4 PM).
Keep your shows coming Trish. Cynthia and I are both paid subscribers and promote your shows to others regularly.
