Donald Trump vowed to “drain the swamp” in Washington in his first election campaign, referring to the DEEP STATE that controlled the government regardless of Congress and the “will of the people”.

“Every year, the White House and federal agencies issue regulations and administrative actions that directly affect the ways that Americans live and work, with limited input from members of Congress, the elected representatives of the people,”
The problem is Congress has delegated so much authority to executive branch officials, departments, and agencies to issue a suffocating multitude of rules, regulations, and “guidance”—that the legislative branch has effectively become unable to ensure that the will of the American people is respected by the bureaucracy…
Canada also has a “drain the swamp” problem.
I don’t know if the swamp got bigger and expanded into Canada, or that Canada, with its three levels of government for just 40 million citizens, build its own playground for swamp creatures. Canadian taxpayers, both alive today and future generations, will continue to serve as Canada’s tax and debt slaves well into the future.
Those swamp creatures sure are an ugly bunch!
We are four levels deep where I live, thanks to regional government.
