Still Wearing a mask?
It’s Christmas and a time for charitable giving. This is my gift of knowledge that, I hope, will reach Canadians who are still wearing face masks expecting to prevent a viral infection.
Shout out to Wendi. Thank you!
I found this Brownstone article on the Substack of Wendi Roscoe PhD. It is the source of the image below.

Wendi earned a PhD in Physiology, is a textbook author, a practicing Wholistic Nutritionist, and much more. With her $50,000 microscopic, she studies samples of blood, tissue and treatment serums at levels much beyond what you could ever see with the naked eye or your hobby microscope. Fascinating stuff!
Captured by fear?
I rarely visit large city malls. Living in a rural setting as I do, they are a case out “out of sight, out of mind”.
Besides, shopping is not something I particularly enjoy especially in large, commercial settings. They bombard my senses with unwanted adversing and excessive “mood-setting” sounds, smells and visuals.
I moved away from Toronto to avoid all of that, and the constant reminder that materialism is still rampant in urban settings.
A few days ago, while visiting family in Pickering, my wife and I went to the mall. It was one of a very few times since 2016 when we moved to “cottage country” that I have entered a mall.
To my surprise, some people were still wearing masks, some N95, some of the blue fabric variety.
I wondered why
But, I quickly concluded that it was none of my business. Besides, they may have good reasons for doing so, but I can’t imagine what they might be.
Perhaps it’s because the residue of fear-mongering, we all experienced during the Covid era, has become indelibly etched in the minds of some people.
If this is the case, I feel sad for them.
This image speaks volumes.
“The truth will set you free” is a popular idiom
Freedom from fear is my intended gift to people who still wear masks because of past Public Health misinformation about their safety and efficacy.
Dr. Roscoe posted another article linked below that is relevant to this topic.
This item in her newsletter caught by eye.
May 21, 2020 – Universal Masking in Hospitals in the Covid-19 Era. It is also clear that masks serve symbolic roles. Masks are not only tools, they are also talismans that may help increase health care workers’ perceived sense of safety, well-being, and trust in their hospitals. Although such reactions may not be strictly logical, we are all subject to fear and anxiety, especially during times of crisis. One might argue that fear and anxiety are better countered with data and education than with a marginally beneficial mask, particularly in light of the worldwide mask shortage, but it is difficult to get clinicians to hear this message in the heat of the current crisis. Expanded masking protocols’ greatest contribution may be to reduce the transmission of anxiety. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp2006372
Scientific evidence.
As a scientist, I can count on Wendi supplying excellent references to back up the information which she reveals in her Substack and Bulletin.
If Wendi’s was the kind of expertise that was commonly presented on the CBC, I might think twice before asking Santa Klaus to defund that government-funded source of propaganda and misinformation.
Just saying’.
Every time I see a person wearing a mask I think from an engineering standpoint, "YOU'RE A RETARD"! Then I calm down and say to myself be nice, they are ill informed and not critical thinkers...I guess I'm angry because I know it's a psyop and people condone it allowing their freedoms to be masked literally.
Thanks Martin. Merry Christmas. Ask Santa to defund the CBC 😜
