Stop The Spread
Shareholder Capitalism is a disease that is spread systemically through a variety of means. We know them as “social justice”, “woke”, ESG, DEI and various forms of politically exploited victimology.
The Greater Good starts with heathy individuals.
I cringe every time I hear a politician or public official claim that they are doing something for “the greater good”. In most cases, it ignores and/or compromises the interests of some individuals in order to benefit other individuals. All government programs are designed to serve “the greater good” which, in political speak, translates into the electoral majority or the most powerful special interest groups in society.
The term “wholistic” is often applied in the context of the overall benefit to an individual organism. Certain healing practices, such as yoga and tai chi, are said to be wholistic because they benefit the “body, mind and spirit” of a practitioner. Some forms of teaching are described as wholistic because they engage student learning via a variety of means and modalities in order to deepen the impact of the lesson.
Wholistic applies most often in the context of individual persons whereas the greater good has similar implications for the aggravation of all citizens sometimes referred to as the “body public”.
The human body contains about 30 trillion cells.
Healthy cells sustain a healthy body. Unhealthy cells can lead to illness and are referred to as cancer cells. The human immune system defends and protects the body from the proliferation of unhealthy cells in order to prevent infirmity and death.
In a sense, the human immune system performs the same functions as we generally expect from governments to keep the social and economic “organs” of the “body public” healthy.
It strikes me that every one of Canada’s 36 million citizens is like a cell in our national body. If we can maintain the health and function of every citizen in a state of well being, then everyone benefits - “the greater good” is achieved.
The human immune system is a miracle of health governance.
It is both highly localized and systemic in the health serviced it provides. Each individual must care for his of her immune system by their life choices, or suffer unhealthy consequences.
Canada’s national “immune system” has been working at cross purposes with regional parts of the system. Premier Danielle Smith created the Alberta Sovereignty Act in an attempt to reign in a rogue federal government that had created unhealthy, “autoimmune” conditions in the Alberta organ of the Canadian body.
A cancer has metastasized from Ottawa which, according to my most trusted conspiracy theories, began with a single rogue cell in Switzerland, Dr. Klaus Schwab. Discussions have begun in Ontario to promote the creation of similar provincial legislation in order to defend and protect the Ontario organ too. These efforts will rally the decentralized components of Ontario’s immune system to actively mount a defence against the infection arising from the globalist pathogen. The first line of defence in Ottawa is already severely infected and compromised. It remains in the hands of 14 million Ontario residents to “stop the spread” of this cancer.
