Democrats Commit Vastly More Dark Money Than Republicans for 2024 The Epoch Times
This article reveals the many sources of money that fund election campaigns in America.
With $800 millions backing the Biden Democrats and $160 millions for the Trump Republican campaigning, the story of election financing by the politicized segments of Crony Capitalism, Crony Socialism and Crony Statism is unfolding.
As a Canadian, I don’t have a vote in that race, but I know that comparable forces are at play in Canadian elections. Here, the ‘political left’ is well funded by a variety of self-serving “progressive” groups that exert the Canadian form of lobbying without the label ‘PAC’ associated with it. We are more unobtrusive and less boisterous in our election financing than the Americans.
Canadian governments place a heavy hand on the scales of “justice” where elections are concerned.
They do this systemically using biased election laws, regulations and subsidies. Only the two largest parties have any chance of forming the next government.
Subsidies and other forms of payment ensure that NGOs, “charities”, unions and other recipients of public “welfare” have ongoing incentives to politically support “the hand that feeds them”. If you favour the policies of Libertarians or any of the 12 to 20 smaller political parties, none of the about advantages apply to their election prospects.
Enter a Digital Direct Democracy solution.
Recently, I posted 12 episodes to introduce the online Citizens’ Preferences Database (CPD) as part of a larger Digital Direct Democracy paradigm. The goal is to protect our nation’s democracy from the corrupting influences of very rich and excessively powerful people. In particular, many Canadians are concerned that globalist elites are executing a “build back better” plan to monetize ‘the masses” for their sole gain.
I believe that a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) system controlled by the Bank of Canada (BoC) will soon replace the Canadian banking system as we know it today. Combined with extensive digital surveillance technologies and AI, a CBDC system will enable the federal government to implement additional tools like those alleged for China’s CBDC strategy such as controlling the behaviour and choices of individual citizens through a reward/punishment model tied to their purchases.
Unlike communist China, a “Made in Canada” CBDC financial system must preserve to the Freedom of Informed Choice that every citizen in a genuine democracy deserves.
The creation of a CPD is intended to do just that!

The Epoch Times article described the most powerful lobby groups in American and how the outcome of elections in America is largely tied to massive donations by a variety of Big Money individuals and groups. The votes of millions of other citizens get swamped by the Big Money cash dumps. How can a democracy balance the scales of election equality between average citizens and the Big Money donors?
WHAT IF all forms of lobbying became a criminal offence.
WHAT IF the only legal way to make an election donation was via the online Citizens Preference Database (CPD) made anonymously via the Opt-In and Opt-Out mechanism within their Personal Preference Profile (PPP) record.
WHAT IF the maximum allowable donation to a political Party, and an individual candidate ( including Independents), was a nominal amount such as $100/year.
AND
WHAT IF all voting was conducted over the CPD too?
Advantages.
If a secure and dependable voting and donations service like the proposed online Citizens Preference Database (CPD) existed today, the following would be possible:
Individual citizens can donate and vote whenever they want and without anyone knowing their preferences. Peer pressure, such as the “encouragement’ in organized labour work settings to act in solidarity with their ‘brothers and sisters’, will be diminished.
Donations can be directed by the donor to any register party or independent candidate without the heavy hand of election authorities creating unnecessary red tape.
A digital audit trail can be automatically generated and audited by impartial AI bots without human intervention required by unwanted and distrusted “authorities”.
Each Personal Preference Profile (PPP) within the CPD is the secure personal property of every person. It will contain a permanent, private and confidential record of all donations and votes made. Freedom of Informed Choice can protected in this manner from potential harm and aggression from third parties.
Elections have become big events supported by oversized media hoopla and excessively expensive public processes that benefit only a select few self-serving stakeholders. These events can and should be reduced to simpler ways for average citizens to participate in democracy in meaningful ways.
Timely referenda on public issues of high priority can also be carried out over an only CPD network. Appropriate donation measures could be added too.
FEAR is no excuse
I realize that most people are afraid of change, especially when it involves technology that they don’t understand. I have already witnessed many people fretting over the inevitable CBDC monetary and banking system that is on its way. Rather than going to the effort of trying to understand it, too many of these people who suffer from a “sky is falling” psychosis will fret even more with every new conspiracy theory they hear.
Yes, all technology comes with risks and rewards. Tradeoffs are inevitable, but the decision to accept or reject new technology is individual choice. Even my 92 year old mother-in-law has an iPhone and a flat screen LED TV with Netflix, Crave and more. Does she worry about 5G and EMF radiation? Not much.
Let’s be proactive.
Know and accept that CBDC is coming.
