1,300 Voice of America Staff Members Placed on Leave, Lake Says Agency ‘Not Salvageable’

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on March 14 instructing USAGM and six other little-known agencies to reduce their operations to the minimum mandated by statute, saying it was necessary to shrink bureaucracy.

The parent agency of Voice of America (VOA), the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), also terminated grants to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, which broadcasts to countries in Eastern Europe, including Russia and Ukraine, as well as to Radio Free Asia, which broadcasts to China and North Korea.

VOA currently reaches more than 360 million people in 48 languages each week “playing an essential role in the fight against communism, fascism, and oppression, and in the fight for freedom and democracy around the world.” Kari Lake, former news anchor, said in a statement that the USAGM is a “giant rot and burden to the American taxpayer” and is “not salvageable.”

After the CBC’s misguided loyalty to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his Liberal/NDP power grifters, and the WEF agenda he supported over the past ten years, I wonder what choice words Ms. Lake would have to describe Canada’s government mouthpiece and the Queen of Privilege, Catherine Tait, CBC’s “big spender” President and CEO⁉️

Spring is in the air, and so is DOGE virus season.

I can’t wait for the day that Canada has a series of DOGE moments after Pierre Poilievre wins a majority Conservative government.

First, Pierre must defund the CBC and send Catherine Tait packing. Then, he should fire Steven Guilbeault, and (wishful thinking) :

✅ restore Canadian sovereignty by tearing up all unwanted treaties and agreements with the UN, IPPC, ICLEI, WHO, and the World Bank✅

Merit, not gravy 🧐

These actions will put every public sector worker and public sector union manager on notice that the gravy train has lurched to an abrupt stop.

If they want to continue receiving a taxpayer-funded income, ‼️ MERIT ‼️ is the only thing that will keep it.
