The Evolution of Democracy, Episode #5 **Worthy of sharing**
A friend sent this little story to me to highlight the difference between Capitalism and Socialism.
Nailed it!
"A guy looked at a airplane the other day and said I wonder how many people I could have fed for the price of that airplane...
I replied I am not sure, but it fed a lot of families at the Dassault factory where it was built. I’m sure it fed a bunch of families that rolled the aluminum at the Alcoa factory. It surely fed a lot of people at the Honeywell factory where the experts built the turbines. It fed a whole company for a few weeks when I had them build me a new interior. It feeds the families of the linemen that fuel it.
That’s the difference between capitalism and a welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
The takeaway.
“When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.
CAPITALISM is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
SOCIALISM is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for."
Nothing is perfect.
A lot of Canadians love to late Capitalism because they have been brainwashed by the Apostles of Socialism that their vision for a “just society” is best. Those Canadiand are told that capitalists are greedy and dishonest. While this may be true for a small minority who occasionally act badly, the vast majority of business owners know that you can’t gain loyal customers and repeat business by “ripping people off”.
One thing is certain.
The Apostles of Socialism have been winning the battle for the hearts and minds of the majority of Canadians for decades.
Leaders and election candidates of the dominant political parties perpetually promise “free stuff” to voters. Historically, the majority are gullible enough to believe them and pay heavily through taxation.
Even Conservative politicians make unrealistic promises but at least they are less inclined to do so than the LIB, NDP, BQ, and Green candidates.
Where Capilalism still exists.
In today’s economy, genuine Capitalist business models are found only in small-to-medium (SME) size businesses. Even these, however, are taxed and regulated to the hilt by the Apostles of Socialism.
It is easy to be a Socialist and advocate for giving away “free stuff” when you are not paying for it out of your own pocket.
Using OPM (other peoples money) to buy the votes of gullible citizens has always been the way that so-called “progressive” politicians have bribed naive and foolish people to gain their votes.
Many of the Apostles of Socialism are employed in tax-funded, public sector positions. They evidently believe that money grows on trees and they are uniquely entitled to tax and give OPM away to “serve the greater good”;
Let’s now consider large domestic enterprises.
Canadian corporations such as Loblaw, Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Tire, have established Crony Capitalist relationships with federal and provincial governments to acquire tax and regulation “privileges” that are not available to small and medium (SME) size businesses. Is this fair? Does it meet your idea of the “just society” to which politicians like Pierre Elliott Trudeau claimed to aspire?
And then there are the globalists…
Beyond domestic corporations are those entities that operate across the planet. They fall into two categories:
PRIVATE SECTOR, publicly traded, for-profit multinational corporations exist to produce and sell products and/or services internationally. The leaders of corporations like Magna International work to earn a return on investment (ROI) for shareholders. Those enterprises compete for investors knowing that every investor has hundreds of opportunities from which to choose. The stock markets list the securities of these businesses and provide extensive information about them for anyone who cares to search online. Published annual reports, audited by Chartered Accountants, provide a level of transparency and accountability rarely seen in government budget reports. Every pension fund (including the Canada Pension Plan), TFSA and RRSP investment account holds a basket of securities of both domestic and international corporations.
This is why every Canadian a stakeholder in their success.
PUBLIC SECTOR institutions such as the WEF, UN, W.H.O., IMF, IBS, World Bank, IPCC, and others, are often joined by international NGOs who claim to be interested in the well-being of humanity. But are they? These entities are not democratically elected by citizens to represent their interests, yet they exert influence and powers well beyond those of the members of humanity for whom they claim to champion.
Socialism is their aim; power is their game.
I haven’t told you anything that you didn’t already know.
I only wish I could provide you with a reliable plan of action that could result in the much-needed legislative changes needed to bring Digital Direct Democracy (DDD) to Canada.
I have already explained how DDD would enable you to OPT OUT of paying carbon taxes in previous episodes.
NOW IMAGINE being able to OPT OUT of any and all unacceptable international agreements signed by Canada’s federal government:
OPT-OUT of the Paris Climate Accord.
OPT-OUT of the UN’s 17 Global Sustainability Goals,
OPT-OUT of the pandemic treaty that the W.H.O. Executive Board (Canada is poorly represented) is trying to impose on citizens like you, and
OPT-OUT of much more!
CHOICE already exists in the Private Sector.
You can OPT OUT of paying for any products sold by Shoppers Drug Mart any time you want simply by boycotting their stores if you wish!
Likewise, we should be able to OPT-OUT of paying for government services, their regulations and their associated taxes for any that we don’t want or need.
Promote Digital Direct Democracy…
… if you wish to TAKE BACK CONTROL from those who wish to enslave you even more than they already have.
