The Other Side of the Covid Story
Pierre Kory, MD, MPA, linked the PDF below in his June 8 Substack edition of Pierre Kory’s Medical Musings. The “official” Covid story is well known, but rarely have we heard from “the silenced”.
It takes uncommon courage
AFFIDAVIT of Dr. James Miller regarding his pandemic experiences
Dr. Miller tells a detailed and compelling story of deceit, corruption, politics, back-stabbing and endless frustration in this affidavit. Admittedly, it is a long read, but worthwhile if you wants a peek into the lives of many medical professionals who feared for their jobs and the health of their patients in the “no win” contest between militarized public health policy and their oath to “first, do no harm”.
If I were a film producer, I would create a documentary based on this affidavit. I have no doubt that many Covid stories will be revealed in film in the coming decade as more victims come out from hiding to recount their personal traumas from that era.
COVID PTSD?
My father was a bomber in Europe during WW2. After the war ended, he spent the better part of a year in a Scottish “rest home” to recover from a case of “nerves”. The term ‘post traumatic stress syndrome’ had not yet been invented but, no doubt, that was dad’s affliction.
Dad, like many men of his generation, enlisted to “protect his loved ones back home from the threat of communism”. Many returned with lifelong afflictions if they were lucky enough to return at all. Dad’s dad, my grandfather, suffered with emphysema from mustard gas poisoning in WW1 and managed to live till age 65 when I was a year old.
The consequences of war were well known in my family, as will be the consequences of COVID19 in contemporary families.
The suffering from pandemic losses and persistent hardships has produced its own manifestation of PTSD which will likely be with us for decades.
War and Covid19 share much in common.
Wars are declared by political elites - Presidents, Prime Ministers, Chancellors, Führer, etc. The Covid pandemic was declared officially by the World Health Organization.
Citizens are expected to make sacrifices and follow orders under both edicts. Meanwhile, many of the “laptop governing class” envoy many privileges compared to front line workers who shoulder all the burden and risks.
Government leaders award themselves increasing powers of taxation, debt spending, confiscation of resources and regulatory controls. “Never let a crisis go to waste” is an idiom oft expressed by past political leaders.
Fear infuses the population. It controls personal choices to such an extent that individuals come to justify their sacrifices as a necessity to our public institutions. “For the greater good” becomes the prevailing public ethos - the badge of honour ideal for virtue signalling. Many citizens even claim to be the “hill upon which they are prepared to die”.
The quickest way to become a public pariah is to question the “wisdom” of the authorities during the crisis. Many courageous experts risked everything to speak out against “the establishment” to exercise their alleged “freedom of speech”. They include Dr. James Miller, Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Paul Marik, Dr. Eric Cole, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Dr. Tom Woods, Dr. Byram Bridle, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Mattias Desmet, Dr. Sunetra Gupta, Dr. Francis Christian, and many more.
PEACE in our time?
What will it take for our species to live without endless conflict?
Religion hasn’t worked as proven over many centuries.
Science doesn’t seem to be the answer either when it comes to ensuring that humans are well behaved. In fact, its institutions have fallen under increasing public suspicion in recent times.
Politics is … well, you already know about politics!
