The Socratic Academy, a home school alternative to Public Schools, has started a timely revolution!

Government schools are failing by virtually every metric according to two former university professors who are renowned for their astute observations and critical thinking abilities.

Yesterday, I listened to this very lengthy discussion about American and Canadian Public Education systems and their many problems. The insights provided by Dr. Jordan Peterson and Dr. Victor Hanson are invaluable to anyone who has young children.

Today, I learned about the Socratic Academy, new homeschool program as an alternative to government high schools. It was recommended by Dr. Bryan Bridle (who I admire greatly for his courage to speak during the pandemic) in a Substack article.

The Socratic Academy, among other methods of pedagogy, teaches critical thinking using an approach practiced in England’s prestigious Oxford University. Any Canadian parent of public-school-age children will do well to consider this alternative to the public school system. After listening to the Peterson-Hansen discussion, it's easy to conclude that the Socratic Academy points the way to the future of Education in the Digital Age.
