Where do you fall on the spectrum of “conventional wisdom believer” through “conspiracy theorist”?

I call it a spectrum because beliefs shift over time based on new ideas, facts and knowledge.

Much that is known today as conventional wisdom originated from the “wide-eyed ravings of the tinfoil hat zealots” of the past. Of course, many of those zealots were wrong, and conventional wisdom often correctly identifies this, but not always.

Even a documentary like this one, which will surely be labelled “conspiratorial” by many conventional thinkers, is instructive. In The Art of War, Sun Tzu advised “know your enemy well”. It's timeless advice. Every conventional thinker, who usually dismisses unconventional ideas as bunkum, would be well-advised to watch this documentary from beginning to end keeping an open mind.
