This is a not a good idea. As individuals, we are not nation states. I would NOT recommend conducting any personal transactions or investments via the BRICS-backed model or infrastructure. Ask yourself why you would invest personal assets in now-communist Brazil, Putin, unstable India, Xi or failed-state SA. You will only regret it. You are not a nation state playing politics by betting against the US Hegemony. You're not even a multi-national corporation doing it out of convenience. So why would you push the Devil's Advocate game played by nation states by being a sacrificial lamb by putting up meager personal assets to back the Devil in order for ruthless politicians and élites to play their game? You have nothing to gain. You are not even in the game. It's nation states politics. Even if you refuse to believe the BRICS nations actually want to create their own hegemony, do you really think they would benefit your non-BRICS community once they devise their own so-called multipolar hegemony? They don't even live here and this BRICS (replete with rainbow coalition) is actually a WEF narrative... the world will be controlled by "multi-polar" bunch of (rabble) nation states instead of US hegemony. Live with it - hegemony is human nature.

My concern about the transition to a multipolar world and the move away from the USA being the economic hegemon and home of the main exchange currency is that when the USA loses its economically coercive power, it will be more likely to resort to raw military power, and hence an increased likelihood of war. I also disagree with ethical relativism being applied to major powers that are morally and ethically very different. Yes, the West has a scary deep state and undemocratic influences, but the others also have deep states, arguably deeper ones. As a libertarian, I tend to rate states and civilizations on their degree of authoritarianism. Despite its many flaws, the USA still rates better than any of the other big guys.

I understand why the BRICS was created. We have not lived under the USD hegemon like many IMF indebted countries that are losing their sovereignty under the terms of IMF loans. America created the conditions for the BRICS to exist and now it will live with the consequences. You and I have no power to change this emerging reality - we live also live with the consequences.

I prefer CASH over digital anything. We desperately need to learn how the world wide monetary system works. It seems like a giant ponzi scheme with our law makers fully involved and getting rich.
