If this strange man came to your door, said he as “Grey Eagle”, accused you of an offence you did not commit, then claimed legal proceedings against you, would this be ‘domestic terrorism’?
IMPORTANT NOTICE. Today, August 20, I enjoyed a good conversation with David ‘Grey Eagle’ Sanford by phone. I found him to be a man with great integrity and honesty. In short, I like and respect him.
I learned why he was involved in the event about which I wrote in this post.
David appeared at my door a week ago because he was told by WMD and SLOB a lie about me being the anonymous writer called Kawartha Lee who posts content on a blog called ‘Pants On Fire’. David had no reason to believe their claims about me were untrue and accepted them at face value.
When David said that he wanted to speak with me in person, WMD and SLOB agreed to drive him to my home and asked that he present to me the 8x11 page with offensive and erroneous content about me.
In short, David innocently went along with their ‘prank’ which did not go according to his expectations. He had hoped to meet me in person and walk together to discuss the matter that WMD and SLOB had presented to him . He had wanted a rational, man-to-man discussion with me, but I was unavailable and my wife answered the door instead. You know the rest of the story.
I don’t understand what prompted WMD and SLOB to dupe Grey Eagle into participating in this event which I reported immediately to the OPP.
I hold no ill feelings towards David Grey Eagle Sanford and respect what he has endured by public authorities in the past. He wrote a book about his experiences as a lifelong member of an indigenous community called The Stained Road. Film producer David Caruso has used it to begin a movie based on that book.
