In June 1970, soon after returning home from 9 months of European travel, I met a girl in a local shopping centre. We hung out for the afternoon. I had not seen he before, nor since. Who was she?
Beautiful post. A life well lived and lots more to come! I do not think the younger version of you would have been able to listen to your current, wiser self... youth is about making mistakes, learning and growing.
What an excellent story! I hope you find that woman, it would be interesting to find out some of her story too! Wasn't it just the 1970's like 5 or 6 years ago???? My mother-in-law just passed on Friday (very happy for her, sad for us). Time marches on.
Thank you. I have always been curious about people, what makes them tick, what degree of wisdom guides them. People like Marc Udeschini and Martin Broadman of the Civis4Reform group are interesting in their commitment to a cause that seems to be going nowhere. I wish them well but am curious about what keeps them going.

Thanks for your comments. You are probably right about the younger me.
A good read! I was just saying “Wish I was 16 again - When I knew everything!”
That lady looks an awful lot like my mother…just sayin… I was born in 1971…
